# Search and viewing

Open Bookmarks by clicking ![](../_image/favorites-icon.png). There are three ways to find the desired bookmark:

- On the **Folders** tab: select the folder with the desired bookmark.

- On the **Newest** tab (if the bookmark was added recently).

- Using the search bar: start typing the name of the bookmark and select one of the options from the list that appears.

All feeds are sorted by date and time.

1. Under **Bookmarks**, deselect **Show the Favorites button to the right of the tabs**.


## Folder structure {#structure}

To nest bookmarks into folders, you can:

- **Create folder**

      To the right of **Bookmarks**, click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Add folder**.

    - Inside a folder


      Open a folder, click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Add folder** to the right of its name, then write a name for the new folder. Click&nbsp;![](../_image/izbrannoe-okey.png) to confirm or&nbsp;![](../_image/izbrannoe-cancel.png) to cancel.

- **Edit**: Open a folder and click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Rename** to the right of its name.

- **Delete**: Open a folder and click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Delete** to the right of its name.


## Bookmark manager {#view-bookmarks}

To see all your bookmarks, open the bookmark manager by clicking&nbsp;![](../_image/favorites-icon.png). To the right of **Bookmarks**, click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Open bookmark manager**.

If you synced Yandex Browser on different devices, folders named after the device (such as **Smartphone** or **Tablet**) appear in the menu on the left. For more information, see [Syncing bookmarks](https://browser.yandex.by/help/en/favourites/izbrannoe-sync-restore.md#bookmarks-devices).

If you imported bookmarks from a different browser, then the folders that you transferred will also appear in the menu on the left. Your folder names will remain the same. ## Bookmarks bar {#panel}

If you want to see your bookmarks and bookmark folders at all times, enable the bookmarks bar under the SmartBox.

There are several ways to enable and disable the bookmark panel:

  1. To the right of **Bookmarks**, click **![](../_image/bookmark-menu-icon.png)**&nbsp;→ **Show bookmarks bar**.

  1. Under **Bookmarks bar**, enable the **Show the bookmarks bar** option. If you want to see the bookmarks bar only when you open a new tab, select **on a new tab page** in the list.

- Using keyboard shortcuts

  
  Press **Ctrl** + **Shift** + **B** (on Windows and Linux) or **⌘** + **Shift** + **B** (on macOS).

## Site favicons in the bookmarks bar {#replace}

By default, the bookmarks bar displays only website names. You can add [favicons](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon) to the names:

1. Under **Bookmarks bar**, enable the **Show the bookmarks bar** option.

1. Enable the **Show site icons** option.

To save space, you can display only favicons without the site names:

1. Make sure that the bookmarks bar is enabled.

1. Find the bookmark in the bookmarks bar.

1. Open the context menu and select **Edit**.

1. In the **Edit bookmark** window, clear the **Name** field.

1. Click **Save**.
